Christopher E. Hollar, 38, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away Saturday afternoon, May 17, 2014 in York Hospital as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident on May 11, 2014 near Fayetteville. Born June 17, 1975 in Chambersburg, he was the son of Deena Pogue Hollar of Chambersburg. A 1994 graduate of Chambersburg Area Senior High School, Christopher worked most of his life in private security. He enjoyed sketching, martial arts, physical fitness, music, and traveling. He loved movies and enjoyed collecting Batman memorabilia.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his father, Silas E. Hollar of Chambersburg; three children, Brianna Hollar, Mason Tallman, and Airianna Hollar; and his best friend and “brother” Miguel Bode.
Friends are invited to visit with the family and celebrate Christopher’s life from 6:00-8:00 PM Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA. Interment will be private.
