Christopher Allen McClure

Christopher Allen McClure, age 50 of Chambersburg, passed away on Monday, October 7, 2024 at the Wellspan Chambersburg Hospital. Born July 14, 1974 in Chambersburg, he was the son of Elwood and Susan Abati McClure. 

Chris was a 1993 graduate of Shippensburg Area Senior High School. He enjoyed listening to music; especially southern gospel. He loved being outdoors, taking rides, camping, fishing and birdwatching. He also loved spending time with his nephews, Zackary and Dominic.

In addition to his parents, Chris is survived by his sister, Kelly McClure and his nephews, Zackary and Dominic Lutzow. He was preceded in death by his fraternal grandmother, Flo McClure; maternal grandmother, Janis Abati; as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins. 

Funeral services for Chris will be held on Thursday, October 10th, 2024 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, where Rev. Phyllis Martin will officiate. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service in the funeral home. Interment will follow the service in Lincoln Cemetery.
