Christopher Michael Sellers, age 18, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away on Monday, October 26, 2015, at the Hershey Medical Center, Hershey, PA. Born in Hagerstown, MD, on October 15, 1997, he was the son of Preston L. Sellers III (wife Tracy) and Stephanie Miller.
A Student of the Chambersburg Area Career Magnet School, Chris was a senior in the carpentry program. He was formerly a student of the Williamsport High School /Washington County Tech High School. Chris loved going on mission trips with his youth group, civil war history and playing video games. He dreamed of joining the U.S. Army, and being the fourth generation of his family to serve in Korea in the 2nd Infantry Division.
In addition to his parents, Chris is survived by four siblings, Nina Hudson (husband Mike), Preston Sellers IV, Tiffany Sellers, and Patrick Sellers; a step-sister, Shelby Lawyer and step-brother, Aaron Lawyer; one niece; and three nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held to honor Chris’s life on Saturday, October 31, 2015, at 11 AM at Salem United Brethren Church, 4349 Letterkenny Rd., Chambersburg, PA; where Rev. Art Page will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are entrusted to the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Chambersburg, PA. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his name to the Salem United Brethren One Way Youth Ministry at the above address.
