Clarence H. “Ike” Myers, 87, of Chambersburg and formerly of Dublin, PA, died on Monday, December 21, 2015 in Menno Haven. Born on June 21, 1928 in Bedminster Twp., PA, he was a son of the late Isaiah M. Myers and Sadie Kratz Myers. He was the widower of M. Irene Miller Myers, who preceded him in death on December 28, 2009. Ike was a member of Marion Mennonite Church in Chambersburg, and he was retired from the Paul W. Histand Company in Doylestown, were he had worked as a parts manager for over 40 years. An avid golfer, he also enjoyed bowling and riding his bicycle. Surviving are three children, Linda J. Crawford (husband Terry) of Gettysburg, PA, Claudia R. Place (husband Dan) of Mercersburg, PA, and Lori M. Colonna (husband Mark) of Chantilly, VA; one brother, Willard E. Myers of Perkasie, PA; 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 6 brothers. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, December 29, in the Deep Run West Mennonite Church, 1008 Deep Run Road, Perkasie, PA, with viewing one hour prior. Pastor Rodger Schmell will officiate. Interment will follow in the adjoining church cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Menno Haven Benevolent Fund, 2011 Scotland Avenue, Chambersburg, PA 17201 or to the Marion Mennonite Church, 4365 Molly Pitcher Hwy South Chambersburg, PA 17202.
