Cleda Irene Andrews

Cleda Irene (Kriner) Andrews, 93, of Chambersburg, PA passed away Monday, March 31, 2025 in Transitions Shook Home, Chambersburg. Born June 23, 1931 in St. Thomas Township, PA she was the daughter of the late Frank G. and Blanche V. (McFadden) Kriner.

Irene and her husband owned and operated James W. Andrews Orchard that later became Appleway Orchards.

She is survived by two daughters, Linda Myers and her husband Curtis of Chambersburg and Patsy Andrews of Mercersburg, PA; two grandchildren Lori Glass and James Glass; three great-grandchildren, Rebecca Glass, Abbie Gehrett, and Kaylea Neil; one great-great-grandchild, Jayden Swope; a sister, Goldie Jane McCardell of Chambersburg; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James W. Andrews who passed away May 20, 1970 and three siblings, Helen Maxine Kriner, Blanche Louise Leevy, and Guy Junior Kriner.

Graveside services will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, Chambersburg.
