Clifford Kaiser

Clifford G. Kaiser, Sr., 90, of Fayetteville, PA, died Thursday morning, August 29, 2013 at The Village of Laurel Run. Born March 17, 1923 in Mercersburg, he was a son of the late Boyd and Anna Mary Jones Kaiser. Early in his life he owned and operated Kaiser’s Sawmill. He retired in 1985 from Manitowoc (formerly Grove Manufacturing) where he had been employed since 1964. He was a member of New Guilford Brethren In Christ Church and a life member of the Fayetteville Volunteer Fire Company.

He is survived by his wife, Mary C. Peters Kaiser, whom he married December 9, 1946; five children, Ronald L. Kaiser, Sr. and wife Wanda of Everett, Clifford G. Kaiser, Jr. and wife Sandra of Fayetteville, Richard L. Kaiser, Sr. and wife Linda of Waynesboro, Trudy A. Stoner and husband John and Joyce B. Rowe and husband Rodney, all of Fayetteville; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; a sister, Dorcas; and a brother, Wayne. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife, Rhoda; a daughter, Mary Ann; three brothers, Arthur, Russell, and Vaughn; and a sister, Pauline.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at New Guilford Brethren In Christ Church, 1575 Mont Alto Road, Chambersburg, PA with Rev. Lawton Jacobs officiating. Interment will follow at New Guilford Brethren In Christ Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00-9:00 PM Monday at Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA and one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday.
