Connie Armijo

January 20, 1947 — November 26, 2020

Connie D. Armijo, 73, of Chambersburg, passed away on Thursday, November 26, 2020 at the Chambersburg Hospital. Born January 20, 1947 in Sullivan, IN, she was a daughter of the late George Allen Ellinger and Rosemary Watson Ellinger. Her beloved husband, Joe Armijo, preceded her in death on February 14, 2008.

Connie was employed as a nurse at Gerald Champion Memorial Hospital in Alamogordo, NM until her retirement. She attended First United Methodist Church in Chambersburg and enjoyed reading, watching TV and talking with her family.

She is survived by two daughters, Jennifer Golden and husband Charles of Chambersburg and Rebecca Grant and husband Dennis of Payneville, KY; five grandchildren, Carrie Sprowles, Amanda Grant, Jennifer Grant, Charles Golden IV and Autumn Lamb; six great grandchildren, Emily and Natalie Hardesty, Logan McGaren, and Roman, Laurel and Madelyn Lamb; and six siblings, Diana Bonazza, Peggy Rannals, Gina Cowan, Rosie Steele, George Ellinger and Joseph Ellinger.

Services will be private. Arrangements are entrusted to Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Chambersburg, PA.
