Connie Barges

Connie V. Barges, age 63, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away at Hershey Medical Center, on Monday, June 5, 2017. Born November 10, 1953, in Chambersburg, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Clara Kemp Mitchell.
Ms. Barges worked in the retail industry for many years. She enjoyed the simple things in life, including word puzzles, knitting, painting, taking rides through the mountains, and most of all, spending time with her grandchildren and her dog, Woody.
She is survived by her beloved companion, Rex Bailey; two children, Jennifer Raudabaugh (husband Clint) of Shippensburg, PA and Michael Barges (companion Carrie) of McConnellsburg, PA; five grandchildren, Christopher, Sabrina, Jessica, Michael, Lindsey, and four siblings, Kathy Ficks (husband Andy) of Chambersburg, PA, Richard Mitchell of Chambersburg, PA, Jody Mitchell (companion John Brennenman) of Chambersburg, PA, and Frank Mitchell (wife Patty) of Chambersburg, PA,.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 9, 2017, at 1 PM at The Faith Church of God Harbor Light, 537 Hood St., Chambersburg, PA, where Pastor Andy Ficks will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the charity of one’s choice. Arrangements are entrusted to the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Chambersburg, PA.
