Connie Piper

Connie K. Bruck Piper, age 75, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away at the Chambersburg Hospital on Wednesday, January 16, 2019. Born April 25, 1943, in Cumberland, MD, she was the daughter of the late William and Marjorie Spencer Bruck.
Connie was a 1961 graduate of the Fannett-Metal High School. She went on to dedicate tireless time to caring for her family. In later years, she had worked as a receptionist at Fitzgerald Toyota. Connie enjoyed watching and feeding her Hummingbirds and caring for animals.
Surviving is her beloved husband of 53 years, Robert “Bob” Piper, whom she married on June 6, 1965; a daughter, Julie Wolford of Chambersburg, PA; two grandchildren, Dakotah R. and Darien M-W. Wolford both of Chambersburg, PA; four siblings, Donna Tucker of Funkstown, MD, Fred Bruck (wife Betty Jane) of Chambersburg, PA, Judy Wagaman (John Danzberger) of Greencastle, PA, and Linda Miller (husband Lloyd) of Concord, PA. In addition, she is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 24, 2019, at 11 AM at the Spring Run United Methodist Church, 16667 Main St., Spring Run, PA 17262, where Rev. Marlin A. “Butch” Neil and Rev. Darwin Goshorn will officiate. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 23, 2019, from 6 – 8 PM in the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Rd., Chambersburg, PA and one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the above church and address.
