Cynthia D. Fix, age 53, of Ft. Loudon, PA, passed away at the Chambersburg Hospital on Sunday, January 18, 2015. Born October 13, 1961, in Chambersburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Matthew E. and Betty L. Parmer Felmlee.
A homemaker most of her life, Cynthia also worked on the family farm. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, who affectionately called her Maw-Maw, going to sporting events, taking bike rides with her husband, cooking, and shopping.
Surviving is her husband of 34 years, Timothy Fix, whom she married on June 28, 1980; five daughters, Nikki Burdge (Mark) of Amberson, PA, Brandy McClure (Chad) of Ft. Loudon, PA, Stacy Wolf (Steve) of Willow Hill, PA, Keri Daniel (Cole) of Willow Hill, PA, and Tiffany Fix of Ft. Loudon, PA; fourteen grandchildren, Lynnzie, Grant, Madyson, Gracie, Lilian, Sadie, Gage, Colton, Sawyer, Molly, Gale, Maggie, Morgan, and Savannah, with two more on the way; and her brothers, Daryl, Michael (wife Tracey), and Todd Felmlee, all of Fannettsburg, PA.
Funeral Services to celebrate Cynthia’s life will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2015 at 10 AM at the Upper Path Valley Presbyterian Church, 16950 Main Street, Spring Run, PA; where Rev. Dr. Meagan Boozer will officiate. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 from 6 – 8 PM at the Agett-Geisel Funeral Home, 18875 Main St., Dry Run, PA and on Thursday one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow the service at Reformed Church Cemetery, Fannettsburg, PA. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her name to the American Heart Association, 610 Community Way Lancaster, PA 17601. .
