Dale Hockenberry

Dale M. Hockenberry, 73, of East Waterford, died on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 in Chambersburg Hospital. Born on December 28, 1940, in East waterford, PA, he was the son of the late Rodney and Cora Hampton Hockenberry.

Dale loved to hunt and fish. He also enjoyed working in his garden and visiting and helping out his neighbors with their tasks.

Dale is survived by four brothers, Leonard and wife Betty of Doylesburg, PA, Norman of Thompstown, PA, Merle and wife Patsy of East Waterford, PA, and Roy and wife Tammy of Chambersburg; six sisters, Evelyn Woodward of Duncannon, PA, Audrey Colledge and husband Richard of Mechanicsburg, PA, Vada Zimmerman and husband John of Marysville, PA, Ella Hockenberry of east Waterford, PA, Nancy Harris and husband Robert of Doylesburg, PA, and Bonnie Zeigler of Shade Gap, PA.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2014 at 11:00AM at Agett-Geisel Funeral Home, 18875 Main Street, Dry Run, PA. Pastor Wayne Hall will officiate. Interment will follow in Concord Union Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
