Dan L. Wagner, 68, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away unexpectedly Saturday afternoon, July 8, 2017 at his home. Born May 22, 1949 in Ohio, he was a son of the late William H. and Norma Jean Weaver Wagner. A 1964 graduate of the Chambersburg Area Senior High School, he served with the US Army. He worked in construction most of his life, retiring from Kinsley Construction. He was very proud of the work that he did on the Flight 93 Memorial in Shanksville. Dan was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed camping, hunting, and spending time at the beach. He liked to read and loved his dog, Bailey. He also enjoyed time spent volunteering at Hersheypark.
He is survived by six children, Tanya A. Gallagher (Scott) of Chambersburg, Dan L. Wagner, II (Jennifer) of Harrisburg, Whitney R. Wagner (Brandon Hockenberry) of Ft. Loudon, Kelsey L. Wagner and Jared L. Wagner, both of Chambersburg, and Todd Seibert (Jasmine) of Dry Run; six grandchildren, Cortney, Robert, Lexus, Andrew, Aubree, and Quwhn; and four great-grandchildren, Hannah, Nathaniel, Jaxon, and Grayson. He is also survived by his brother, Gerald Wagner (Caroline) of Venice, FL; two sisters, Jeanne Carlisle (Jim) and Nancy Boyer (John) all of Elizabethtown, PA; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services and interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
