Daniel Henderson

Daniel K. Henderson, age 58, of Harrisonville, PA, passed away at the Chambersburg Hospital on Tuesday, February 14, 2017. Born in Washington, D.C., on December 22, 1958, he was the son of the late Donald K. Henderson, Sr. and Lucy Kirk Henderson.

Dan worked in the Logistics industry, driving for a number of companies. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, especially Harley Davidson. His most cherished joy was spending time with his daughters and going to and supporting them in their sporting events.

Surviving are five daughters, Danielle R., Brittany S., and Stephanie M. Henderson all of Harrisonville, PA; Emma Marie Shauf of McConnellsburg, PA; and Stacey Gobat (Brent) of Camp Hill, PA; three step-children, Jenny Lynn Maistros (Mike) of Old Town, MD; Christopher Shane Weber (Nicole) of Shippensburg, PA; and William David Weber of Washington, D.C.; seven grandchildren; and two siblings, Donald K. Henderson, Jr. (wife Cynthia) of Gallatin, TN and Sherri Marie Henderson (Greg Newlin) of Chambersburg, PA.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 17, 2017, at 11:30 AM in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Rd., Chambersburg, PA, where Pastor Dennis Beaver will officiate. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service in the funeral home. Interment will follow the service in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
