She was also an active participant for many years with the Greencastle Minstrel Show. She worked the voting polls and volunteered at the Salvation Army; participated in a mission trip with the Mt. Olivet United Brethren Church; and enjoyed bus trips and traveling with her family. She enjoyed bowling and bowled with the ladies league at Nellie Fox for many years and participated in local, state, and national tournaments. Her grandchildren were the center of her world and she loved attending their events and activities.

She is survived by three children, Kathy Jo M. Bard of Chambersburg, Brandy Jo R. McCarty and husband Toby of Hancock, MD, and Jason R. Strite and wife Rachel of Chambersburg; and nine grandchildren, Jaren (Sierra), Brady, Riley, Reghan, Sophie, Ryker, Jax, Nicholas, and Colton. She is also survived by eight siblings, Avon Stine and husband Mike, Ed Amsley and wife Cathy, Marvin Amsley, Paulette Rodgers and husband Terry, Vivian Shuman, Doug Amsley and wife Michelle, Penny Seylar, and Jenny Pogue and husband Todd as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Pamela Amsley, and two brothers, Wayne and Mark Amsley.
