David Hobbs

David Matthew Hobbs, 38, of Hagerstown, MD, went to be with the Lord on Sunday afternoon, November 11, 2018. Born October 19, 1980 in Chambersburg, he was a son of John and Rita Miller Hobbs of Chambersburg. David was a 1999 graduate of North Hagerstown High and went on to earn a Bachelor’s Degree from Shepherd University. He was currently employed at Letterkenny Army Depot in Chambersburg, PA. David loved his cats and music. He enjoyed heavy metal music and attending most any music concert. He attended the Church of the Redeemer in Frederick, MD.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother, Michael Hobbs and wife Amy M. Moore; his nephew Logan Michael Hobbs; and his niece Zoe Ryan Hobbs, all of Chambersburg.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 PM Saturday, November 17, 2018 in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA. Pastor Curtis Hendershot will officiate. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery near Quincy, PA. The family will receive friends from 11:30 AM until services begin at 1:30 PM on Saturday at the funeral home.
