Dave attended Grandpoint Church for over 40 years. Since COVID, it was online, but continued his attendance and learning of God’s word.
Dave loved his family and friends. Many of his activities and travels included trips with or to see family and friends. Dave also loved the outdoors. He loved hunting, camping and just sitting outside watching the birds in his backyard. He enjoyed the beach and ocean. Nothing was better than sitting on the beach with the wind moving through his hair. He also loved Virginia Tech sports; therefore, his favorite colors were orange and burgundy.
He had many hobbies that included stained glass, woodworking, and photography. His friends and family often received gifts made by him.
He was a quiet person but if he spoke, you should listen because he had something you wanted to learn from him. He often said he lived by two words, “I tried”. His wife would add, “He did”!
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at Grand Point Church in Chambersburg at 12:00 p.m. with a visitation one hour prior to the service.
