David Thompson

David Eric Thompson, age 54, of Chambersburg, PA. entered into God’s eternal care on February 9, 2019. He was born in Granite City, Illinois on March 26, 1964, the son of Susan and Roman Llabres of Fayetteville, PA.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother, Charles Anthony Thompson and his sister, Jennifer Ann (Nash) McCreary (husband Robert); his Uncle Don and Aunt Mary Ann Gargac, Uncle Paul and Aunt Frances Mikulas, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his biological father, Charles Thompson, his Grandma Daisy and Grandpa Paul Mikulas, who taught him and his brother, Charles to hunt. Dave loved animals, especially his dog, Ben; he loved to cook, make rockets, and fireworks. He was a long distance cyclist and often rode for charities.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Chambersburg, PA. There will be no public services. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to: the Chambersburg Hospital, Franklin County Fire Department, and all his friends from AA, especially, Matthew Phillips.
