Dean Eichelberger

Dean S. Eichelberger, 71, of Fort Loudon, PA, passed away unexpectedly Sunday evening, June 18, 2017 at his home. Born January 7, 1946 in Chambersburg, he was a son of the late Franklin Pierce and Sarah Kathryn Weaver Eichelberger. Dean was employed in retail custodial work most of his life. He enjoyed attending church; telling jokes; and was an avid bluegrass musician.

He is survived by his daughter, Sheila Bach (Michael) of Chambersburg; his son, Shane Eichelberger of Clear Spring, MD; four grandchildren, Cheyanne, Madison, Raef, and Sky; two brothers, Don L. Eichelberger (Sandy) of Chambersburg and Lloyd J. Eichelberger of West Virginia; and two sisters, Sarah E. Poe of Chambersburg and Mary N. Brechbill (Paul) of Gettysburg. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Albert, James, Harold, and Amos Eichelberger

The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM Friday, June 23, 2017 at Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA. Services and interment will private.
