Deborah K. Hepfer, 62, of Chambersburg, PA passed away Tuesday, August 22, 2023 in Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill, PA surrounded by her wife and daughter from complications of COVID. Born December 7, 1960 in Chambersburg she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Helen (Helmuth) Hepfer.
She was employed as a cook at Laurel Lakes Nursing Home formerly Falling Springs Nursing Home until becoming ill in 2020. Deb enjoyed spending time with her family and her beloved pets.
Deb is survived by, Pauline Tredo who she shared her life with for the last 15 years, the two were married November 8, 2021; two children, Tiffany Kendall and Dennis Gelwicks; four grandchildren, Noelia, Elyziah, Bryceson, and Sebastian; four step-daughters who she gained when she married Pauline, Dawn Stephens, Kellie Mower, Trisha Tredo, and Amanda Hosmer; and her beloved fur-babies.
Services will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, August 29, 2023 in the Chapel of the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA 17202 with Rev. Dr. A. Robert Cook officiating. Burial will follow in Parklawns Memorial Gardens, Chambersburg.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service Tuesday afternoon in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter, 5051 Letterkenny Road West, Chambersburg, PA 17201.
