Delores Flory

Delores I. Flory, 79, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away Thursday afternoon, January 10, 2019 at the Chambersburg Hospital. Born December 3, 1939 in Chambersburg, she was a daughter of the late Merle C. and Margaret L. Kennedy Keebaugh. She retired as a Supervisor from Hoffman Mills in Shippensburg after 30 years. Following her retirement she worked part-time at the Cumberland Valley Christian School for five years. She was a member of The Open Door Church; a life member of the Charles Nitterhouse Post 1599 Auxiliary; and was a member and Past President of the Marine Corps Auxiliary. She enjoyed spending time with her family and will be remembered by many for her sense of humor. Her hobbies include working crossword puzzles, coloring, playing Bingo, and birdwatching. Her husband of 49 years, Carl Franklin Flory, Jr., whom she married August 16, 1968, preceded her in death on December 26, 2017.

She is survived by five children, H. Dave Haulman (Kathy) of Battle Creek, MI, Merle H.W. Haulman of Chambersburg, Diann M. Jones (Kib) of Chambersburg, Darren C. Haulman (Debra) of Mercersburg, and Carol F. Flory of Chambersburg; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and her sister, Georginna L. Hoffeditz (Warren) of Chambersburg. Also surviving are her grand dogs, Chance and Kozmo. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, G. Danny Haulman in 2001; a sister, Ella Pauline Keebaugh; and a brother Jug Kennedy.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 AM Tuesday, January 15, 2019 in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA. Rev. Carl McKee will officiate. Interment will follow at Parklawns Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Monday and from 10:30-11:30 AM Tuesday at the funeral home.
