Denise Brechbill

Denise “Nicki” Brechbill, 51, of Chambersburg, PA, died Monday morning, March 11, 2013 at Chambersburg Hospital. Born March 8, 1962 in Chambersburg, she was a daughter of Kenneth F. Johnson of Loysville, PA and the late Julia O’Donnell Boppe. A homemaker most of her life, Nicki dedicated her life in recent years to raising her granddaughter, Kortney, following the unexpected passing of her daughter Michelle in 2002.

She is survived by her husband, Weslyn A. Brechbill; her granddaughter, Kortney M. Keck; two sisters, Debbie Boggs of Three Springs and Tina Johnson of Spring Run; and three brothers, Kenny, Kevin, and Keith Johnson, all of Loysville. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Michelle K. Keck on March 17, 2002.

Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon Thursday, March 14, 2013 in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA with Rev. Marlin A. “Butch” Neil officiating. Interment will follow at Brechbill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until services begin at Noon on Thursday at the funeral home.
