Dennis Gsell

Dennis J. Gsell, 65, of Chambersburg, passed away unexpectedly Friday morning, October 15, 2021 at his home. Born March 25, 1956 in Chambersburg, he was a son of John W. and Nellie G. Shover Gsell of Chambersburg. He was a 1974 graduate of the Chambersburg Area Senior High School and the Franklin County Vo-Tech School. He worked in HVAC with his family all of his life first with John Gsell and Son Sheet Metal and then Dennis Gsell and Son Heating and Cooling. Earlier in his life he coached ball with the Fayetteville Athletic League. He liked classic cars and car shows and especially enjoyed attending his granddaughter’s softball games.

He is survived by his wife, Melita L. McNew Gsell, whom he married June 13, 1977; two sons, Damian A. Gsell (Wendy) of Fayetteville and Aaron L. Gsell (Nicole) of Chambersburg; and two granddaughters, Addison Gsell and Kaitlyn Socks. He was preceded in death by his brother, Randy.
