Dennis Hubler

Dennis P. Hubler, age 53, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away on Friday evening, October 3, 2014 at his home. Born May 30, 1961 in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Paul and Maxine Fetcenko Hubler.

A 1979 graduate of West Branch High School in Philipsburg, PA, Dennis went on to earn his bachelor of science degree in education from Penn State in 1983. For the past eight years, Dennis worked as an estimator for Van Metre Construction. His hobbies included, making mandolins, flutes, woodworking, and playing the guitar at church.

Dennis is survived by his wife of 29 years, Jennifer L. Krall Hubler, whom he married on September 7, 1985; nine children, Robin Wisor and husband Dave of Philipsburg, PA, and Aaron, Jacob, Benjamin, Jeremy, Abby, Eli, Anna, and Leah Hubler, all of Chambersburg; three grandchildren, Emma, Eva, and Aiden Wisor; two sisters, Paula Morris and husband Andy and Pam McDowell, both of FL; and one brother, Donald Hubler and wife Jackie of Phillipsburg, PA.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at The Open Door Church, 600 Miller Street, Chambersburg, PA. Rev. Mike Sanders will officiate. A private interment will be held in Centre County Memorial Park, State College, PA. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the church. Arrangements are entrusted to Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Chambersburg, PA.
