Dennis E. “Denny” McClure, 57, of Chambersburg, PA, has gone to be with the Lord. Born on June 26, 1961, he was a son of Eugene B. and OcieLee Leisher McClure. He was the second oldest of four siblings.

Denny was a 1979 graduate of CASHS. He was a great son, father, and family man who loved hunting, fishing, golfing, NASCAR, and spending time with family. He was employed as a traveling mechanic and store manager for 26 years with U-Haul and later at Letterkenny Army Depot for 8 years. He attended Cornerstone Church of Christ and was a member of Amvets Post 224 and the Marine Corps League, both in Chambersburg.

He is survived by his mother OcieLee McClure of Chambersburg, three children; his oldest daughter Denae Whiten and husband Dante of Virginia, his only son Ryan McClure and wife Carlyn of Chambersburg, youngest daughter Kayla McClure and fiancé DJ Council of West Virginia; 9 grandchildren, Brycin, Brayden, Jonathan, Jayden, Godsson, Breyah, Brayla, Addyson, and Aubree; two sisters and a brother: Robin McClure, Roger McClure and wife Deana, and Tammy Dunbar and husband Bill; and several nephews and nieces and other beloved family. He was preceded in death by his father Eugene McClure, “Shorty.”

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, October 29, 2018 in the Chapel of Thomas L Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA 17202.
