Dennis Rosenberry

Dennis Lee “Denny” Rosenberry, age 75, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away on Thursday, May 11, 2017, at the Chambersburg Hospital. Born March 11, 1942, in Chambersburg, PA, he was the son of the late Lawrence Henry and Zelda Louise Geyer Rosenberry.
Denny was a 1961 graduate of the Chambersburg Area Senior High School. Denny went to work in sales at various companies, retiring from Crossmark Company in 2007. After retirement, Denny went to work for Franklin County Transportation as a driver until his retirement in 2015. In addition to time spent with his family, Denny enjoyed riding his motorcycle, history, nature, woodworking, and going out to eat, especially with his breakfast group. He was a member of the Chambersburg Church of the Brethren and the Searchers Sunday School Class.
Surviving is his beloved wife of 53 years, Darlene Shank Rosenberry, whom he married on August 17, 1963; two daughters, Jody Andreine (companion Allen Boyer) of Chambersburg, PA and Kelly Lull (husband Bradley) of Indian Land, SC; 4 grandchildren, Kristin Andreine of Chambersburg, PA, Holly Andreine Lopez (husband Danny) of CA, Isaac Andreine (friend Brittney Sowers) of Chambersburg, PA, and Mason Lull of SC; and a brother, Lawrence Rosenberry (wife Helen) of Chambersburg, PA. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Delano Rosenberry.
A memorial service will be held at the Chambersburg Church of the Brethren, 260 South Fourth St., Chambersburg, PA 17202 on Tuesday, May 16, 2017, at 11 AM, where Rev. Joel Nogle will officiate. The family will receive friends on Monday, May 15, 2017, from 6 – 8 PM in the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Rd., Chambersburg, PA and one hour prior to the service at the church. Private interment will be in Lincoln Cemetery.
