Diana Melissa Molly King, 34, of Chambersburg, passed away on Thursday, August 18, 2016 at the Chambersburg Hospital. Born August 4, 1982 in Chambersburg, she is the daughter of David King, Sr., and Mary Houser Branche. Diana was a 2004 graduate of CASHS. She later earned a culinary arts degree. She loved playing scratch-offs and enjoyed cooking for her family and friends. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her daughter, Dimara Hicks; eight siblings, David King, Jr. and wife Traci, Daniel Major King, Alicia Houser, Harell Hazelton, Jr., Renard X. Hazelton, Velissa King, Vincent Hawkins, and Vance Hawkins and wife Kim, all of Chambersburg; step-father, Sean Branche; step-mother, Vicki King; paternal grandparents, Willie Mae Hunter and Eddie Ayers; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and special friends, Takia Cary, Annie Laban, Jessica Davis, and Rodrick Dorsey. Diana is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Mary Elizabeth Houser and Samuel Lee Houser, Sr. Her funeral service will be held on Friday, August 26, at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, with viewing from 1-3 PM. Pastor Matt Tosten will officiate. Interment will be private in Lebanon Cemetery.
