Diane Keith

Diane L. Keith, age 72, of Chambersburg, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 24, 2011 in Manor Care Health Services, following her courageous battle with cancer. Born on May 9, 1939 in Chambersburg, she was a daughter of the late Isaac H. Norman and Naomi G. Demas Norman.

Diane graduated from the former Chambersburg High School and worked as a sales clerk for J.C. Penny in Chambersburg for over 30 years. She was a loyal member of John Wesley A.M.E. Church, and its Missionary Society.

Diane is survived by her husband of 38 years, Ronald L. Keith, whom she married on July 14, 1973; two children, Danielle “Toody” Walker and Michael Walker; grandson Chris Gaines; great grandchildren, Amya and Jada Gaines, all of Chambersburg; and one brother, Rodney Norman of Martinsburg, WV. Aside from her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Irene Norman.


Funeral services will be held at 1PM on Friday, September 30, 2011 in chapel of the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, with Rev. Vera Keith and Rev. Dr. Allie Harper officiating. Interment will be follow in Lebanon Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8 PM on Thursday and from 12-1 PM on Friday.
