Dolores Hoover

Dolores S. Hoover, age 80, of Chambersburg, passed away on Monday, August 15, 2011 in the Chambersburg Hospital. Born on December 8, 1930 in Chambersburg, PA, she was a daughter of the late Frank N. Shindledecker and Florence E. Hyssong Shindledecker. She was the widow of Wayne J. Hoover, who preceded her in death on January 24, 1997.

A homemaker, Dolores spent her life taking care of her family. She is survived by three sons, Gary E. (and wife, Marie) Hoover of Chantilly, VA, Anthony W. and Christopher A. Hoover, both of Chambersburg; and her granddaughter, Marianne.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 PM on Friday, August 19, 2011 in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Road Chambersburg, with Rev. Paul B. Baker officiating. Interment will follow in Lincoln Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
