Dolores Rosenberry

Dolores A. Rosenberry, age 88, of Chambersburg, PA, died on Friday, June 22, 2012 in Chambersburg Hospital. Born on April 26, 1924 in Upper Strasburg, PA, she was a daughter of the late Glenn C. and Eileen M. Rosenberry Allen.
A 1941 graduate of the former Chambersburg High School, Dolores worked for the former Stanley Clothing Company for 27 years retiring in 1979. She was a life member of the Friendship Chapter #17 Order of the Easter Star, Washington, D.C. and a member of Cavalry United Methodist Church in Fayetteville.
She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Robert S. Rosenberry; two daughters, Dianne Rosenberry, of Chambersburg, and Barbara Statler, of Chambersburg; four grandchildren; Daniel Thrush, of Titusville, FL, Michael Rosenberry of Fayetteville, PA, Wendy Rosenberry of Chambersburg, PA and Chad Statler of Raleigh, NC, three great-grandchildren; and one sister, Katrina Halter, of Chicago, IL. Aside from her parents she was preceded in death by a son; Robert A. Rosenberry, a granddaughter; Gemini Rae Thrush, and two sisters; Betty Jane and Eileen A. Allen.
Funeral services will be private. Arrangements are entrusted to Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center.
