Donald Vaden Feldman, age 82, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away at his home on Wednesday, January 4, 2017. Born in Chambersburg, PA on January 28, 1934, he was the son of the late Donald A. and Mildred L. Miller Feldman.
A U.S. Navy veteran, Mr. Feldman served honorably during the Korean Conflict. He was a diesel mechanic for a number of years, retiring from C. Earl Browns, Inc. Mr. Feldman was a member of the American Legion Post 223 in Shippensburg, PA. An avid sports fan, He enjoyed the Pittsburgh Steelers, Penn State Football, and watching NASCAR. He also enjoyed tinkering outdoors, including painting ornaments, yardwork and cleaning his car, no matter if it was dirty or not.
Surviving are five children, Jane Cheeseman (wife of the late Aaron) of Chambersburg, Jean Sgaggero (husband Steve) of Chambersburg, Donald L. Feldman (wife Angie) of Chambersburg, Darryl Feldman (wife Teresa) of Martinsburg, WV, and Darin Feldman (wife Teresa) of Shippensburg; seven grandchildren, Ashley (fiancé Mike), Holly, Brittany, Carrie (husband Logan), Shelby (husband Cody), Chanel, and Scharlotte; a great-granddaughter, Bentley; and two siblings, Jim Feldman and Judy Newell. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Saundra Feldman on October 13, 2016.
