Donald J. Miller, 84, of Fayetteville, PA, passed away on Saturday, February 26, 2022 in the Chambersburg Hospital. Born July 12, 1937 in Fayetteville, he was the son of the late John F. and Ella M. (Ritter) Miller.
A United States Airforce Veteran, Don honorably served from 1954 to 1958. He then went on to work at the former Landis Tool Company in Waynesboro as a painter, where he was employed for 41 years. He was a member of the AmVets Post 224, Chambersburg Moose Lodge 842, American Legion Post 46, Landis-McCleaf Marine Corps League, and the VFW Post 1599. He enjoyed watching Orioles baseball, Nascar races and western movies and was an avid reader.
Surviving is his wife of 60 years, Gladys (Baker) Miller, whom he married on January 6, 1962; children Danita K. Powell (Donald), Dawn R. Miller (Daryl Neil), and Deanna Kriner (Benjamin); three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Elmer W. (Sam) Miller, Peggy (Joann) McKnight, Lloyd Miller, and Nora M. (Dolly) Miller.
Private services are entrusted to the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Chambersburg, PA. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter, 5051 Letterkenny Rd. W, Chambersburg, PA 17201
