Donna M. Hilton

Donna M. Hilton, 76, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away on Monday, November 18, 2024 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born February 17, 1948 in Bethesda, MD, she was a daughter of the late Edgar James and Marie Elizabeth Henderson Hilton.

Donna was a 1966 graduate of Walter Johnson High School in Bethesda, MD. She was employed as an Administrative Assistant with Chambersburg Broadcasting until her retirement in 2008. She was also a business owner and volunteered her time with several local organizations including the Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter. Donna was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ in Chambersburg. One of her favorite pastimes was making antique reproduction dolls throughout the 1980’s and 90’s. Donna also enjoyed going to the casino, cooking, and scrapbooking for her grandchildren. She loved the Beatles, Ed Sheeran, and the movie, It’s A Wonderful Life. Most of all, she cherished spending time with her friends, children, and grandchildren.

Donna is survived by two daughters, Michelle Berrones and husband Richard of Middletown, PA, and Jenny Shively and husband Tim of Frederick, MD; three grandchildren, Blaire Shively, Diego Berrones, and Madison Shively; one sister, Robin Benchoff of Chambersburg; and her niece and nephew, Brooke Hanvey and Brian Benchoff. Aside from her parents, Donna was preceded in death by her sister, Jean Frisby.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 3:00 PM on Sunday, November 24, 2024 at the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA 17202.
