Doris Mentzer

Doris M. Mentzer, age 82, of Mechanicsburg, PA passed on Sunday, March 16, 2014, surrounded by her loving family. Born May 10, 1931 in Chambersburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph w. and Edith Zeger Keller.
Doris was a homemaker most of her working life; where she cherished spending time with her family and taking care of them. Full of life, Doriswas a very classy and fun lady, who brought joy and laughter to everyone that interacted with her. In later years, she worked as a sales associate at Schleisner’s Dress Shop and at the Bon Ton.
Surviving are three daughters, JoAnn Sprow (husband Dennis) of Mechanicsburg, PA, Sharon Perry (husband Michael) of Mechanicsburg, PA, and Cheryl Puskarich (husband Michael) of Etters, PA; four grandchildren, Heidi Knaub (husband Donnie) and Joseph, Alexandra, and Nicholas Perry; and two siblings, D. Sharpe Keller (wife Edna) and Maurice Keller ( wife Joanne). In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by seven siblings, Josie “John” Keller, Eugene Keller, Galen Keller, Mabel Knoll, Margaret Keller, Stella Bricker, and Hazel Rosenberry.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2014 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Rd., Chambersburg, PA; where Pastor Shane Wilson will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the funeral home. Interment will follow the service in Parklawns Memorial Gardens.
