Dorothy Eslinger

Dorothy Snyder Eslinger, age 88, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away on Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at Providence Place in Chambersburg, PA. Born January 15, 1935, in Chambersburg, PA she was the daughter of the late Glenn and Margaret Biesecker Snyder.
Mrs. Eslinger was a 1953 graduate of the Chambersburg Area High School and a graduate of the former Shippensburg State Teachers College. She was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Robert F. Eslinger and a son, Bob Eslinger (wife Tammi) of Centerville, OH; four grandchildren, Allen Eslinger (wife Natalie) of Tucson, AZ, David Eslinger of Houston, TX, Ryan Eslinger of Centerville, OH, and Andrew Eslinger (wife Amy) of Tucson, AZ; and five great-grandchildren, Madelyn, Ferguson, Gannon, Zeno, and Calhan.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 18, 2024, from 10 – 11 AM in the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Rd., Chambersburg, PA. Inurnment will be private in Ft. Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to St. Paul United Methodist Church, 750 Norland Ave., Chambersburg, PA 17201.
