Dorothy Greer Frazer, 97, of Chambersburg, PA, went to be with the Lord Thursday afternoon, February 13, 2014 at Menno Haven. She was born September 24, 1916 in Maytown, Lancaster County, PA. A graduate of the former Bryn Mawr Hospital School of Nursing, she had a long career in nursing. Mrs. Frazer attended Chambersburg Gospel Chapel. She lived with her family for several years in Colorado Springs, CO and traveled to Alaska after retirement. She enjoyed reading, gardening, helping family and others, knitting, and bread baking.
She is survived by five children, Jean Heisey, Mary Morton, John Greer, Bill Greer, and Rich Greer, and their spouses; seventeen grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren; seven step-children, Tom Frazer, Robert Frazer, Sharon Monn, Susie Luehrs, Daniel Frazer, David Frazer, Molly Shull, and their spouses and children. She is also survived by one sister, Jean Zell Fisher; and one brother, Wilbur Koser. In addition to her parents, David and Mary Hawthorne Koser, she was preceded in death by four husbands, Nathaniel Longenecker, Thomas Greer, Richard McIntire, and Robert Frazer; six sisters; and two brothers.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, February 17, 2014 at West Green Tree Church of the Brethren, 740 Greentree Road, Elizabethtown, PA. Interment will be in the adjoining church cemetery. There will be a viewing at the church from 1:00-2:00 PM.
