Duella Kerlin

Duella R. Kerlin, 90, a resident at Quincy Village and formerly of Mont Alto, passed away Sunday, December 13, 2020 at the nursing home. Born May 13, 1930 in Huntingdon, she was a daughter of the late Arnold R. and Verna H. Snook Metz. Mrs. Kerlin was a graduate of the Robertsdale High School and was employed for many years at the former J. Schoeneman Company in Chambersburg, retiring in 1993. She enjoyed flower gardening.
She is survived by her son, David S. Kerlin and wife Nancy of Scotland, PA; three grandchildren, Ronald (Brandy), Jennifer, and Jess; three great-grandchildren, Emily, Kaden “Tom”, and Trenton; and a brother, Ronald Metz (Linda) of Ohio. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Debra Downin on April 11, 2018; a great-grandson; and two brothers, Roy and Russell.
A graveside service will be held at 11:30 AM Friday, December 18, 2020 at Mt. Zion Cemetery near Quincy, PA.
