Dustin B. Farner, age 10, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away at the Hershey Medical Center on Friday, April 20, 2012. Born in Chambersburg on June 18, 2001, he was the son of Eric B. Farner of Fayetteville, PA and Rashell S. Burkett of Chambersburg, PA
Dustin was a fifth grade student at Scotland Elementary School. He enjoyed playing baseball for the Fayetteville Bruins, where he was a catcher. He loved racing, climbing trees, playing with trains and tractors, and watching WWE wrestling.
In addition to his parents, Dustin is survived by two brothers, Mason I. Farner and Bentley S. Fleagle; his maternal grandparents, Frank and Nancy Burkett; his paternal grandparents, Donald and Michelle Farner; maternal great-grandparents, Martin and Nancy Jones and Linda Sprankle; paternal great-grandmother, Lelanda Englerth; as well as numerous Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.
A Memorial service will be held at the Norlo Park Community Center, 3050 Lincoln Way East, Fayetteville, PA 17222 on Thursday, April 26, 2012 from 5:00 until 8:00 PM; there will also be a Candle Light service at the same location by the Trains on Sunday, April 29, 2012 at 7:30 PM. Arrangements are entrusted to Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Inc., Chambersburg, PA.
