Edgar Baer

Edgar L. “Cub” Baer, Jr., 53, of Chambersburg, PA, died unexpectedly Thursday morning, February 27, 2014 at his home. Born August 28, 1960 in Chambersburg, he was a son of Edgar L. Baer, Sr. and the late Helen Perry Baer. He had worked in construction most of his life.

Cub is survived by two daughters, Fawn Baer and Lindsay Baer, both of Chambersburg; a grandson, Major Torres; a sister, Pam Nailor of Fayetteville; and two brothers, Dennis Perry of Chambersburg and Harvey Baer of Fayetteville. He is also survived by a niece, Bobbie Jo Nailor, and a nephew, Jason Stevens, both of Fayetteville.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 AM Wednesday, March 5, 2014 in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA with Pastor Staci Geesaman officiating. Interment will follow at Norland Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00-9:00 PM Tuesday and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
