Ellen Campbell

Ellen Houser Campbell, born in Milroy, Mifflin County, Pennsylvania on September 11, 1923, died Tuesday evening, May 7, 2013. Her husband, Robert Bruce Campbell, preceded her in death on March 3, 2012. Ellen is survived by her daughter Lisa Ellen Aston (Mrs. Randall) of Georgetown, Texas, and a sister, Marguerite Jacobs of Shippensburg, PA. Preceeding her in death, in addition to her husband, were her parents Adaleene and J. Lester Houser, and four brothers, Bob, Jack, Stan, and Jim Houser. Ellen served in the W.A.V.E.S. during WWII, and later graduated from Bucknell University. She lived throughout the United States, retiring with her husband at Luther Ridge Retirement Village where she lived at the time of her death.

A graveside service will be conducted at 10:00 AM Friday, May 10, 2013 at Spring Hill Cemetery, Shippensburg, PA with Rev. Herbert Spomer officiating.
