Elsie Guyer Little, 96, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away Monday morning, May 18, 2015 at her home. Born August 18, 1918 in Fannettsburg, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Isabella Rodenbaugh Osler. Elsie was a graduate of the former Fannettsburg High School and worked at the former Stanley Company in Chambersburg for more than thirty years. She enjoyed the beach and shopping but especially enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by four children, Kathleen of Hagerstown, Jeanette, Arthur (wife Fran), and Ronald, all of Chambersburg; a step-daughter, Joanne of Minnesota; seven grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and twelve great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Donald F. Guyer on October 22, 1977; her second husband, Wilbur Little on December 31, 2003; two sons, Kenneth Guyer and Donald Guyer; and a brother, Charles “Bud” Osler.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, May 22, 2015 at Lower Path Valley Cemetery, Fannettsburg, PA with Pastor Andy Fickes officiating. There will be no public viewing.
