Ethel Mae Pinnock age 61, of Chambersburg, PA, passed on Thursday, June 16, 2016, at her home. Born February 28, 1955 in Cairo, GA, she was the daughter of Freddie Mae Teague Shaw and the late Edward Shaw.
Ms. Pinnock had most recently been employed as a dietary aid at Manor Care, where she had worked for the last 7 years. A very outgoing and kind spirit, she enjoyed music, dance, making people laugh, and spending time with her grandchildren. She loved to spend time with her family and enjoyed seeing them together; she especially liked to cook for her family.
She is survived by four daughters, Deanne L. Shaw (fiancé Dawayne Williams )of Philadelphia, PA, Beverly Jean Spece (husband Barry) of Lancaster, PA, Tammy Maxwell of WV, and Maxazina Brown of Chambersburg, PA; eleven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and eight siblings, Delois Jackson (Johnny) of Moultrie, GA, Isiah Shaw (Shirley) of Chambersburg, Ruby Murray (Kenneth) of Chambersburg, Linda Powell (Rev. Hewlett) of Donalsonville, GA, Mary Norah (Jimmie) of Chambersburg, Andrea Shaw (Earl) of Chambersburg, Eddie Shaw (Penny) of Chambersburg and Anna Shaw of Chambersburg. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by two siblings, Willie Shaw and Annie Shaw.
A Home Going Service will be held on Monday, June 27, 2016, at 11 AM in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Rd., Chambersburg, PA; where Dr. Lois Waters and Bishop Edgar Scott will officiate. The family will receive friends in the funeral home from 9:00-11:00 AM. Interment will follow the service in Lebanon Cemetery.
