Eva Margaret Irvin, age 78, of Concord, PA, passed away on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at Chambersburg Hospital. Born January 23, 1937 in Concord, she was a daughter of the late Ralph and Leatha Miller. She was a 1956 graduate of the Fannett-Metal High School. A homemaker most of her life, she had worked on the family farm and at Howard Johnsons early in her life. She enjoyed camping, gardening, and puzzles, but her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by two sons, John R. Irvin of East Waterford and Roger L. Irvin (wife Nancy) of Concord; her daughter, Kathy Jo Lapp of Mercersburg; seven grandchildren, Cristal, Jonda, Resa, Rheann, Lacey, Loren, and Ridge; and four great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Layton, Breanne, and Norah. She is also survived by her sister, Nancy Miller of New York; and five brothers, Rhea Miller (wife Jane) of Mifflintown, Donald Miller (wife Bonnie) of Concord, Marvin Miller (wife Linda) of Chambersburg, Robert Miller (wife June) of Greencastle, and Lloyd Miller (wife Linda) of Concord.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, February 28, 2015 at Agett-Geisel Funeral Home, 18875 Main Street, Dry Run, PA with Rev. Marlin A. “Butch” Neil officiating. Interment will follow at Concord Union Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 AM Saturday at the funeral home.
