Floe I. Fann, age 87, of Waynesboro, PA, passed away at her home on Wednesday, March 1, 2017. Born November 30, 1929, in Chambersburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Alfred L. and Irene Trace Monn.
A homemaker most of her adult life, Mrs. Fann enjoyed caring for her family and keeping her own “Army” of children well behaved. She was a member of AARP.
Surviving are six children, Ricky Fann of Harrisonburg, VA; James Fann, Jr. (wife Susan) of Hedgesville, WV; Cheryl Flory (husband John) of Waynesboro, PA; Glen Fann (wife Melissa) of Waynesboro, PA; Roger Fann (wife Lisa) of Waynesboro, PA,; and Robert Fann (wife Nancy) of Waynesboro, PA, 17 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, a sister, Dorothy Wauls of Chambersburg, PA, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Fann, Sr. in March 2006, a son Alfred L. Fann in January 2006, three sisters, Mary Jane Monn, Joyce Starliper, and Betty Piper, and one brother, Alfred Monn.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, March 6, 2017, at 10 AM in Parklawns Memorial Gardens, 3218 Philadelphia Ave., Chambersburg, PA, where Rev. Murray Stevens will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the American Kidney Fund, 11921 Rockville Pike, Suite 300, Rockville, MD 20852. Arrangements are entrusted to the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Chambersburg, PA.
