Louise Lerario

Louise Lerario, 96, of Chambersburg, passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at Brookview Health Care Center. Born April 9, 1928 in Elizabeth, PA, she was the daughter of the late Harvey and Margaret Moore Fennell.

Louise was employed most of her career as a Registered Nurse at the National Institute of Health in Bethesda, MD. After their retirement, Louise and her husband relocated to the Penn National Community. She was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Chambersburg, a past president of the Damascus Republican Women’s Club, a member of the Montgomery County Republican Women’s Club and founder of the Penn National Needles quilting club.

She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Peter Lerario, whom she married on June 1, 1957; three children, Thomas Lerario (wife Karen) of Millersville, MD, Marisa Dudiak (husband Stephen) of Dallas, TX, and Michael Lerario (wife Martha) of Fayetteville, NC; five grandchildren, Cara Dudiak (Tori), Dominic Lerario (Elizabeth), Harrison Lerario (Caitlin), Jenna Stutte (Josh), and Peter Lerario (Samantha); and five great grandchildren, Lylah Grace, Finley, Paris, Noah, and Miller Louise.
