Frances Cutchall

January 21, 1925 — October 30, 2011

Frances K. Cutchall, 86, of Providence Place and formerly of Fayetteville died on Sunday October 30, 2011, in Chambersburg Hospital. Born on January 21, 1925 in Mercersburg, she was the daughter of the late Thurman and Helen Hawbaker Trask. Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Chalmer H. Cutchall on May 6, 1977.

Frances retired in 1987 from DESCOM, where she was a Supply System Analyst. She attended Heidelburg Church in Marion and was a member of Martha Custis Chapter # 342 Order of The Eastern Star, Order of the Amaranth, The White Shrine, NARFE, and AARP. In addition, Frances was a life member of Fayetteville Volunteer Fire Dept. Co. 7 Auxillary, Charles Nitterhouse VFW Post 1599 Auxillary, Burt J. Asper Post #46 American Legion Auxillary.

She is survived by three children; Jeffrey D. (and wife Angela), Carolyn “Dodie” Tash (and husband Dennis), and Thomas (and wife Maggie) all of Fayetteville. Frances is also survived by four grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Aside from her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, James W. Cutchall.

A memorial service will be held in her honor on Friday, Nov. 4, 2011 at 11:30AM in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA 17202. Friends will be received one hour prior to the service. Rev. Adam Leeper will officiate. Interment will be private.
