Frank Krisch

Frank Krisch, 84, of Fayetteville, PA, passed away on Wednesday, March 14, 2018, at Menno Haven. Born March 21, 1933, in Brooklyn, NY, he was a son of the late Anton and Anna Krisch. His wife of 56 years, Roseann Krisch, preceded him in death on August 18, 2012.

A U.S. Army Veteran, Frank served honorably during the Korean Conflict. He was employed for 47 years with The Wall Street Journal until his retirement. During his career Frank worked at numerous branch offices across the country including, San Francisco, Chicago, Washington, D.C., Chicopee, MA, and New York City. He was a member of the VFW Post 1599 in Chambersburg. A devoted husband and father, Frank enjoyed spending time with his family. He also enjoyed baseball, playing cards, bowling, and golfing in his retirement.

Frank is survived by three children, Deborah Auwarter (husband Rodney) of Woodsboro, MD, Andy Krisch (wife Susan) of Ashton, MD, and Donna Bartlett (husband Doug) of Greensburg, PA; eight grandchildren, Jenna, Jared and Julianne Auwarter, Sophie, Tom and John Krisch, and Kimberly and Bret Bartlett. In addition to his parents and wife, Frank was preceded in death by his brother, John Krisch.

A funeral service will be held at 11:30 AM on Saturday, March 24, 2018 in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA. Rev. Fr. Brian Olkowski will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. A private interment will be held at Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
