Freda R. Hepfer, 65, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away Sunday evening, November 25, 2018 at her home. Born August 3, 1953 in Chambersburg, she was a daughter of the late Raymond Leroy and Nellie Margarite Welsh Craig. Freda had at one time worked at Head Start in Chambersburg and later was employed at Knouse Foods. She loved animals and enjoyed playing cards and watching TV.
She is survived by her daughter, Genice R. “Genny” Martin; and three sisters, Michelle Imler (Jeffrey), Judy Mowery, and Deborah O’Neal (Harley). In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, George L. Hepfer; a daughter, Georgia L. Hepfer; a brother, Raymond Craig; and two sisters, Susan O’Neal and Betty Jane Craig.
Services will be private. Interment will be at Spring Hill Cemetery.
