Gail Sleichter

Gail B. (Turner) Sleichter, 84, of Fayetteville, PA passed away peacefully Monday, December 6, 2021 in her home. Born October 30, 1937 in Denver, CO she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Parker) Turner.
She was primarily a homemaker but did work as a receptionist for the Chambersburg Hospital for 20 years. Gail was a kind and faithful woman that loved the Lord and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of the Chambersburg Bible Church where she played the piano and sang in the choir. Hospitality and having people over to her home is where Gail shined the most.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, John C. Sleichter who she married August 28, 1958; three sons, Dan Sleichter and his wife Kendra of Chambersburg, Richard Sleichter and his wife Kim of South Mountain, PA and Jim Sleichter of Chambersburg; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a sister, Faye Douglas.
A celebration of life will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, December 17, 2021 in the Chambersburg Bible Church, 810 Orchard Drive, Chambersburg, PA 17201 with Mr. Matt Robertson officiating. Arrangements are by the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Chambersburg.
