Gary L. Freet, age 62, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away on Monday, April 9, 2012 at Hershey Medical Center. Born on June 29, 1949 in Chambersburg, Gary was the son of the late Mary Todd Freet.
A U.S. Army veteran, Gary served his country honorably in the Vietnam War. He worked as a shipping clerk at Letterkenny Army Depot and had previously worked at Grove Worldwide. He enjoyed walking in parks, riding go-carts, taking car rides, and visiting the ocean. Gary was a member of the AMVETS Post #224 in Chambersburg.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Vicki Freet, whom he married on September 11, 1971; and two sons, Josh and Cory Freet, both of Chambersburg.
Services will be private.
Arrangements are entrusted to Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Chambersburg, PA.
