Gerald “Jerry” O. Clark, 70, of St. Thomas, PA, passed away on Friday, December 1, 2023 surrounded by his family. Born August 17, 1953 in Shade Gap, PA, he was the son of the late Clayton and Myrtle Clark.
Following high school, Jerry enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, where he honorably served from 1971 to 1975. While he worked many years at T.B. Woods, and then Letterkenny, he found his true calling as a self-employed craftsman. His favorite activities included hunting, fishing, and following his favorite sports teams. He loved to be in the garage restoring his antique cars and displaying them at local car shows and competitions. Above all, his number one priority in life was his family. He was a great husband, father and grandfather, and his families’ needs always came first. He did his best to include them in every hobby of his and supported them in every hobby of theirs. There was never a doubt the love and adoration he held for his family.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Carolyn (Crawford) Clark, whom he married in August of 1978; daughter, Heather Clark-Blankenbaker (husband, Jeremiah), son, Michael Clark (wife, Ashley); granddaughter, Cortlyn Clark; and grandsons, Corbyn Clark and Kason Clark; and three siblings, Joe Clark, Darlene Jean Lehman, and Arlene Pollock. Aside from his parents, he was preceded in death by four siblings; Glen Clark, Ray Clark, Lee Clark and Evelyn Provard.
Services for Jerry will be private. Arrangements are entrusted to the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Chambersburg, PA.
